Mission Statement

We, the administrative body of Mid West Indian Ministries, are hereby committed to an ongoing endeavor to assist with the essentials of life (food, clothing, and education), to all people known as Native American or commonly referred to as American Indians. We do this without regard to tribal affiliation or blood quantum. Regardless of location, whether on reservation lands, allotted lands, tribal lands, or living in urban areas in assimilated conditions.

We are committed to high ideals of fiscal integrity concerning all donations of money, material substance, and donated time.

We are committed to a high standard of accountability to the public at large, and to all contributors in particular.

We are committed to respect for each and every individual's dignity and rights, regardless of whether they are recipient, donor, or employee.

We at Mid West Indian Ministries hereby dedicate ourselves to the principles of:

  • COMPASSION for hurting humanity
  • CONCERN for present and future needs of those we exist to serve
  • ACTION to heal hurts and provide for needs with all assets available to Mid West Indian Ministries
  • EDUCATION to enable people to provide for their own necessities and well being
